Lift Shaft was most notably known for the suicide of Charlotte Rivers in the year 1959 when she committed suicide in the lift shaft, by falling from the 2nd floor post wearing metal frame and murdering Mandy Phillips. The shaft was inhabited by the ghost of Charlotte Rivers ever since until it was permanently closed in the year 1999.
