Ailing Patient is a minor character appearing in Fragile, the patient is seen in the climax of the movie. The sole concept of the patient was to describe the nearing of the other world, as the person was capable of sighting spirits around him, in this case, Maggie Reynolds in spirit form, sitting besides Amy Nicholls in St. James Hospital while the ailing patient in the next room, glares at them and preparing for his eternal journey to the next world. The aforementioned concept was first conveyed by the Psychics.
